After moving from Boston, Massachussets to attend college in southern Georgia, Kaamel Lewis picked up the camera to begin his career as a creative. A hobby for photography, videography, and creative directing turned into a passion for capturing the essence of today’s entertainment scene. Kaamel’s expertise extends to fashion, event, portrait, and street photography using digital and film. Now residing in Atlanta, “Shotsbymel” is known for his candid style photos of various musical artists that range from R&B singer Jacquees to the 5x GRAMMY-winning rapper Drake.
